The entire poem by Clement C. Moore is here, with a new rhythmic melody that is easy to play & sing! What a joy to be able to sing a favorite poem classic.
That arrangement above is the SOLO arrangement, for piano and voice. You can find the entire eight-page version for sale as a digital download in two places:

So far I haven't written a secondo... but a chord accompaniment for this beginner music is easily made by playing bass note, chord, chord.
For chord newbies: The bass note is the chord name. Then comes a full triad, up an octave, or maybe a little bit of the chord - a baby chord, or just the top half of a triad.
See examples of this chord pattern in the bass clef of the solo version of this song, below:
Unlike some of the musical settings I've seen of this wonderful Christmas poem classic, my composition is easy to sing and learn. No strange rhythms, no wild notes.
Because there are so many verses, all with pretty much the same meter, I knew I couldn't just repeat the same melody over and over again. Too tedious.
So what I ended up doing is using one PRIMARY melody for two verses, then a "chorus"-like alternate melody, which brings the pianist back to the main melody again.
Then two more verses of the main melody, then the chorus, but after the chorus the second time, a third melody. Sound confusing? This pattern happens like this:
A A B A A B C
A A B C
The backup chords help the transitions seem more inevitable.
After the first part C, the song moves up from the key of C, to the key of D, in the solo version (not the beginner version - that version just repeats).
I've only got the first three pages shown here; but download the beginner PDF and take a look at the whole thing!

This is the perfect easy start for little pianists.
And when they start reading white-key notes on the staff, this is a fun easy resource to say each week, "Choose a new black-key song at home this week and figure it out to show me next lesson!" They will be spending more time at the piano.
A perfect read aloud storybook
for little boys or girls.
The Adventures of Tonsta highlight the travels of a very young boy with a good heart, who goes about helping folk in trouble.
With a red cap on his head and a sack of tools slung over his shoulder, Tonsta seems to meet people in distress wherever he goes.
Lots of trolls in this book - including one who gives him a Christmas gift!
