Joy to the World lyrics, guitar tabs, & piano sheet music for Christmas!

The chord symbols allow for a duet partner to add chords.
You'll notice there are just a few lettered notes, to help out with the first note, and a couple of F sharps.

In this particular guitar arrangement, I left some fast-moving chords out that do show up in the piano arrangements.
It sounds just fine holding on to the C chord through measures 1 and 2, and at the end, measures 16 and 17. Otherwise, go ahead and sneak F chords in where you feel something is missing!

Originally written for violin, you can see that part 3 uses open strings and easy string combinations on violin.
This ensemble works just fine as a duet, if you wish.

This beautiful song book for piano & voice "Esther, For Such a Time as This", available as a digital download, tells the riveting story of the time when Jews in ancient Persia faced a foe named Haman, and how a brave young queen risked her life to save her people.
A good choice for a singing story-teller, an operatic group, a short theater production, or a class of children!

This is the perfect easy start for little pianists.
And when they start reading white-key notes on the staff, this is a fun easy resource to say each week, "Choose a new black-key song at home this week and figure it out to show me next lesson!" They will be spending more time at the piano.
A perfect read aloud storybook
for little boys or girls.
The Adventures of Tonsta highlight the travels of a very young boy with a good heart, who goes about helping folk in trouble.
With a red cap on his head and a sack of tools slung over his shoulder, Tonsta seems to meet people in distress wherever he goes.
Lots of trolls in this book - including one who gives him a Christmas gift!
Roni (Leigh on Sea, UK):
Wanted to say thank you for all the alpha note music you provide, it's been so helpful to give the early pupils or the older, "not-quite-so-achieving" pupils. Great work!
Kerri:
What a great selection of beginner music!
My young student will be thrilled to be able to play songs she "knows!" Thank-you!
Susie:
Wow! I cannot thank you enough for the free collection of piano sheet music that you created here. My daughter and I are following everything you wrote and we LOVE it. It is super fun!!! She loves to play because of your website. We have a small binder now that is slowly growing! THANK YOU!!!!
Anna Lee:
What a fabulous website! I've been a keen amateur piano player since I first learnt 56 years ago at the age of 8. I now have a three year old granddaughter and am hoping fervently that she'll want to learn - at which point I'll teach her. This is just the kind of resource I'll need to make it comprehensible. Thank you very much.
Liz:
Hello - I just want to say THANK YOU so much for the duet version of Oh Holy night (in Bb too!), which is great, as I have two students at school that are going to sing this in a concert in 3 weeks.
With not much time and no budget, it is so nice to find an arrangement! Thank you.
Colleen:
Hi Dana,
THANK YOU!!!! The music I have found here is right in my wheelhouse: romantic, melodic, beautiful and arranged for intermediate level. Black is the Color of my True Love's Hair, Emma.... I often have a hard time finding just the right music that fits the style I'm looking for at the right level. Again, THANK YOU!!
Hi, I'm Dana! (Say that like "Anna".) I'm the owner of Music-for-Music-Teachers.com, and a newer site, SingTheBibleStory.com.
Like some of you, I've been playing the piano since early childhood, and have added a few other instruments along the way, plus an interest in arranging and composing music.
You can find out more about me and the reason for this website at my About Me page.
