I am trying to find a program that will allow me to convert lyrics into music...

Hi, Lloyd, I don't write music that way, so I haven't paid much attention to actual composing software as opposed to TRANSCRIBING music that is already composed, but I'm betting there's plenty out there. Have a look at Encore, Finale, & Sibelius, or just do an internet search for "lyrics to music composing software". Good luck!
